The end of an era: campfires will no longer be permitted from 2026 onwards
For over 50 years, camping evenings have always had a special flavour.
Many of you will remember them: an old rim on the pitch, a few logs, folding chairs, children laughing… and marshmallows roasting as night fell.
Simple, warm, almost timeless moments. A real cosy and friendly atmosphere, just like at home… but in the middle of nature.

It was a tradition.
In recent years, weather conditions and the risk of fire have become much more acute.
Regulations have become stricter, and ground fires or campfires are now prohibited, even when supervised.
Although we have always done our utmost to keep them safe, we now have to adapt to the new rules.
From the 2026 season onwards, campfires will be banned for good throughout the campsite.
It’s not a choice of the heart… but a choice of responsibility, for the safety of all and to preserve the forest that surrounds us.
Don’t worry about your gourmet evenings
Barbecues and planchas are still permitted, subject to safety regulations.
Barbecues, family meals and shared moments will always be there to create beautiful memories.
The end of an era… but not the end of the good times
Campfires will always be remembered as a page in the history of camping.
A tradition that has accompanied generations of holidaymakers.
But the spirit remains the same:
conviviality, nature, sharing and summer evenings under the stars.
And no regulation can take that away from us.
Thank you for your understanding
